A RAK I received

I signed up to do a RAK Swap over on Life On The {Scrap} Beach and my partner Nishi sent me over such a wonderful RAK. I've put full photos of everything over on the page My Life My Lens. But here is a key ring that she sent me and I just love the sentiment on it.

Nishi also sent me this beautiful card

which reads

My Wish For You

May you find clarity and clam
to a world no-one understands.

May your pain and sorrow
motivate you to walk tall
and face new challenges
with braveness and optimism.

May you come to know
that there are people around
who share love and understanding
especially when you feel deserted.

May your eyes open
to see the good in others
so that you can uncover
the joy locked in every day.

May an inspiring word,
a tender loving touch
and jubilant laughter
be yours....every day!

May all this rub off on others
and be reciprocated in abundance.

.....And may love embrace you
wherever you may go.

Altered Tag

I have signed up to do a RAK swap over on Life's On The {Scrap} Beach. Part of the swap was to send a tag and here is the one I'm sending my partner. I've never done a tag before and so didn't really know what to do. I hope she likes it.

Cardz N Scrapz March Challenge

Alicia set the craft challenge over on Cardz n Scrapz this month. The theme is vintage and you have to have distressing and tearing oh yeah and feathers in the entry. I decided to make another tealight candle card. Here's my entry.

Easel Card Tutorial 0001

Here's a tutorial I've made for my friend Brona. I promised her last week that I'd make her a tutorial, so hopefully it is of help.

My First Tealight Candle

I've seen this style of card in recent weeks and had to try it out. I just love the idea, a card and gift in one. I don't have a recipient yet for this card and so haven't placed a sentiment on it. Hopefully I will find a home for the card soon enough though.

A Childs Card

Having been touched by the story of "Mighty" Max, as mentioned below, I decided to make a card for him.

Now, I am a bit concerned because a few people have said to me that this is a scam, but I don't understand how. So I decided to make a card and hope that it arrives with this poor child Max. What's the worst that can happen, it doesn't arrive to the intended recipient? But then on the most positive side, making and posting this card is going towards reaching a very sick child and helping to make his dream come true. He is only 12, so close in age to my niece and I know I'd walk the world and back again to make her happy. So here goes, Max this card is for you sweetheart.

Easel Cards

I love making easel cards and so here are a few that I've made in the last couple of days. Thanks for stopping by and looking.

Swaps I've Signed Up To

I've signed up to two swaps over on Life On The {Scrap} Beach. One was an altered canvas and one was an altered frame, both with a vintage theme. I got particulars from my partners as to what they would like and created these two. Hopefully the recipients will like them. I'm not used to doing vintage, so it took me outside my comfort zone.

March ATCs

I've just finished making this month's ATCs for the March swap over on Cardz n Scrapz. The host this month is Wendy and she set the theme as shades of green or a little something Irish. So I've combined both and made these ATC's. Just need to pop them in the post now.
