Cornbread

For hubby's birthday as mentioned below, I did the cooking. We love Cajun & Creole food so this was the main theme of my cooking. I made jambalaya, plantation cheese log, cornbread, spicy mexican vol au vants, chicken wings, cocktail sausages, chicken gougons, creole sweet and spicy nuts and Swedish Creme Wafers. It all went down a storm and I'd people asking for the recipes. What a compliment!!!!

Coupon Folder

Concertina style inside, ATC envelopes attached to each other at the base and affixed to the cover of the folder.

Here's a coupon folder that I made for my husband as part of his birthday gift. I made little coupons for him for things such as giving him a lift to work, cooking his favourite dinner, silly little things that made him smile. He always finds his birthday a hard time but I always do my best to make it extra special with little things like this. I can see myself making more of these because it was so easy to make and can be done for any occasion really. Of course I bought him a proper gift too as you'll know from my next post.

Altered Canvas

Here's an altered canvas that I made as part of a swap. The theme was French and my partner loves red. In the background of the image through the fog stands the Eiffel Tower.

ATC Swap

Diane over at Cardz N Scrpaz has put together November's ATC swap, the theme "Winter". I've been getting myself busy with beads a lot lately so decided to use my beads for this swap. Here's what I made and I'd a great time too. Thanks Diane!!

Jewellery Galore

Well I've been a very busy bee lately and have been making jewellery for a sale in work. I'm so delighted that I've been asked to sell as I had a wonderful excuse to create with my beads. I think hubby is pleased to also see me crafting and using my stash, but I promise him I'll be buying more when I'm away in a couple of weeks lol Check out my jewellery page because I've LOTS more on show there.
