Charm/Dangles

Here are some Charm/Dangles that I created for a swap over on Life On The {Scrap} Beach. The theme was Easter and we had to include metal beads and some charms. I just loved the pink and blue beads when I saw them and so really hope that I got these right.

Baby Mini Album

I made this mini album for a friend in work, who is due her first baby in a couple of weeks. I wanted to give her something handmade but very special. I used Little Darling papers, Papermania ribbon, Wild Orchid flowers, stamped images kindly given to me by Josie, Weenie and Mirella and some beautiful embellishments that Maggie sent me to. I'm really delighted with how this has turned out.

Angel getting in on the act

I left my craft space to grab something and when I returned Angel was sitting right in the middle of my craft mat, getting in on the action. She doesn't like to feel ignored and I couldn't resist the photo op.

Itsy's 3x3 inches

Here are some itsy's that I made for some angels over on LOT{S}B. I hosted a swap recently to make itsy's and one of the girls, a friend of mine, was very badly flaked on. She made and sent three itsy's to her partner who then disappeared and never sent anything in return. I was sickened when I heard this especially as it wasn't the first time to happen. Knowing I wouldn't have time and in a real panic to help Linda out, I asked for some angels to step in and help out. Three wonderful ladies did just that and expected nothing in return. But me being me had to thank these wonderful ladies for being such genuine caring partners and so I made these to post on to them. They are little itsy's which have tags in them and upon the tags are friendship quotes. Thankfully there was just one flaker in my swap and every other participant carried out their commitments, which I'm extremely grateful for.

The weekend is here and gone

What an amazing weekend it has been, the sun has been shining all weekend and it's been really warm. My weekend began on Thursday when I celebrated my birthday (the age we wont mention). Then Friday night I went for dinner with my wonderful husband and my parents and also his mum.

Yesterday I got up with great intentions of doing housework but the sun was splitting the skies which tends to be a rare thing here in Dublin, so I moment and headed out. We went for a drive around Dublin which was really nice and great quality time with hubby and our little dog. It was really warm around tea time and so we headed out again, this time to Donabte, to a beach we used to walk on years ago. It was so lovely and here's a pic of it

Sunday being another glorious day, we headed for the hills....well the mountains. What amazing scenery we have on our doorstep. Some really beautiful views, even if there where some sheer drops to the side that made me very very nervous.

So as another new week begins, I pray it's a quick one so that I can spend another wonderful weekend in the Irish countryside. I hope you all have a great week.
